10 team 5x5 (OBP instead of AVG). 11 player keeper. Roster below.
Really having a tough time deciding between Andrus, Delmon, and Brett Anderson (can keep 2).
Here's the deal:
Andrus:
I don't love him at all, but that's mostly because I just don't get excited about guys who only help in Rs and SBs. He seems to be a necessary evil though, as the SS pool is terrible and I'd rather have non-power, SB only guy clogging up the SS spot instead of having to burn an OF spot on a burner (especially with Ellsbury burning one already)
Delmon:
I love Delmon. I think he's for real and I hate give up on young guys with alot of talent that are just starting to break through.
The problem is that we are switching to OBP, which almost kills his value. With AVG, his modest power with a whiff of upside plays very well. 25/90 to go along with a great AVG is very nice. With OBP, however, he becomes a very passable option. Instead of helping, he'd hurt.
Brett Anderson:
Love him. He is the only pitcher I am considering keeping at all. My staff bombed last year and I've got to rebuild the whole thing. As you might imagine, the SP pool gets pretty depleted with 11 keepers. We play with 8 SPs. As a rule, I hate keeping SPs unless they are absolutely elite, but this year might have to be an exception.
Keepers (14-man lineup):
1B (CI,IF): M.Cabrera
2B(MI): Utley, Kinsler
3B: Aramis, Pedro Alvarez
SS: (Andrus)
OF (5+UTL): CBYoung, Ellsbury, Stanton, Quentin, (Delmon)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
