Keeper Help (1 Viewer)

Same keeper rules as Wrigley more or less and also traded for Braun late in the season to keep.

I won the regular season and the playoffs in this league and I'm due for a rebuilding year.

15 Dollars to keep players, players mature by 2 dollars every year they are kept. Keeper values go based on where they were drafted and how long they've been kept.

Head 2 Head - 6 x 6 (with OPS and HOLDS)

Elvis Andrus - 4 bucks

Miguel Cabrera - 11 bucks

Robbie Cano - 7 bucks

Josh Hamilton - 5 bucks

Jesus Montero - 1 buck

Roy Halladay - 8 bucks

David Price - 4 bucks

Those are really my only options right now....

Sucks balls.

Debating one of the following combos:

Andrus, Cano, Montero

Miguelito and Andrus

Andrus, Hamilton, Montero and Price

Halladay and Cano

What's total dollar amount? It's kind of hard to judge player values without it.

Total allowable dollar amount is 15 bucks - it's in the post somewhere in there

What's the total auction budget? I can't tell whether Cabrera is good value at $11 or not.

Gotcha

It's not an auction it's a draft and players are valued based on what round they are drafted in

First Round = $5

2nd through 5th = $4

6th through 10th = $3

11th through 20th = $2

21st through 24th and FA Pick Ups = $1

It might also help to note that I have 12th pick (out of 12) in the draft. Meaning I have zero shot at getting Miggy back.

11bucks, but damn he is consistent and he can be traded for 1 dollar rebuilding chips.

It doesn't appear your league rules deplete the draft picks or money you have available for this season's acquisitions, so I think the correct strategy is to maximize the amount of talent you keep. Your scoring categories favor hitters over pitchers because the extra pitching category diminishes scoring for both SP and closers.Given your scoring and their pricetags, the top three value guys IMO are Montero, Hamilton and Cano.

Its a keeper league so your list must start with Montero & Price = 5So I see the choices asMontero/Price/Cano = best hitting/keeper comboMontero/Price/Halladay = best pitching/keeper comboor if you just want more players and are willing to take the risk on Hamilton's health, thenMontero/Price/Hamilton/Andrus

I say Cano and Montero are musts. Quick question though, does Montero qualify as C? Pretty decent chance he doesn't. Just something to keep in mind at your draft. I probably keep Andrus over Price and Hamilton for that last spot.
