Keeper Value Question (Willie Snead vs Sammy Watkins) (1 Viewer)

I am in a 16 team, full point PPR league that starts QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE.  I have the 4th draft slot and can keep Sammy Watkins for a 3rd round pick (3.4) or Willie Snead for a 7th round pick (7.4).  Sammy seems to be about the 12th-18th ranked WR and Snead seems to be the 28th-32nd ranked WR.  I currently have Snead pegged as my keeper, but the thought of having a fully healthy Watkins is tempting me.  Then I think about how frustrating his foot injury was last year.  What should I do?

Additional info:  I have an extra 3rd round pick and 5th round pick from trades I made last season.

When do you have to make the decision?  Wait as long as possible to see how Watkins is doing in camp.  If he's doing great, you could keep him....but I think Snead at pick 100 is a better value.

I think having that extra 3rd and 5th rounders, makes me lean toward Watkins. I would have anyway, but that makes it even easier. I think his upside is just so much higher than Snead's. 

What other options do you have to keep? I can't imagine these are your only two decent options.

I agree that having the extra 3rd rounder makes taking the chance on Watkins more enticing but the value on Snead is nice.  If you are a gambling man I go for the upside with Watkins and if you are conservative go with Snead and maybe you get a chance at Watkins in the draft anyway.

You could also try and trade one of them and see if anyone bites.  Trade the one that nets the better return.

This is what I have been doing so far.  Have to lock it in on the 12th.

I am keeping Dak Prescott for a 14th round pick and we get two keepers.  Snead and Watkins are easily my best options.  Next best would probably be Eric Ebron for a 9th, Cam Newton for a 4th, or CJ Anderson for a 3rd.  None of which are that appealing.  

I appreciate the responses.  Seems like I will continue to monitor until the 12th and then go with my gut.  Today my gut says Snead and maybe get Watkins with one of my draft picks, but maybe I'll keep Watkins if reports are positive leading up to the 12th.

I was just coming to bump this.  I'm liking Snead more now too.  Though I like Watkins if he falls a lot because of the move to LA.  They'll be playing from behind and he'll get most the looks.
