Kelvin Sheppard BUF ILB (1 Viewer)

Stern is on vacation, so I was flipping around Sirius. At 10:40am, the NFL channel was talking about Kelvin Sheppard. The hosts claim that Buf management thought Poz was to light, and they want Sheppard to become the starter. Just passing it along.http://www.nfl.com/draft/2011/profiles/kelvin-sheppard?id=2495229http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1116449/kelvin-sheppard
the bills got barnett in a nice free agency pickup, should slot into that role...sheppard is i think ticketed for andra davis' other ILB spot, but not expected to start immediately (not sure about this season, even... depends on davis health and how much he has left)...

he'll start eventually, but probably not right away with a healthy Andra Davis still around.

and Sheppard figures to slot into the SILB spot while Barnett takes over the WILB spot from Posluszny.

Jim Miller said the 240lb "dripping wet" Poz was too small, and a 250lb "thumper" would be a better fit for the 3-4 they want to run...and thats why they signed Barnett (who is even smaller than Poz, Jim). Course Ross Tucker aint bright enough to call Jim on that.

Then Schein came on and I switched channels.
