I've just started researching this kid and wanted to gauge the board's reaction.

Hunter is short, but has a nice frame for a RB. 5'8 and 200 isn't bad for a RB.

He seems to have plenty of speed and alot of shiftiness. I have seem a couple clips of him at the goalline and he seems to have good strength.

How about it Big 12 fans? Is this an underrated gem? He had really good stats in 2008, had an injury that hurt him in 2009 and exploded this year.

He's an enigma.

Apparently his personality is extremely calm and quiet. Stories of him nearly falling asleep pre-game and such. As an expert psychologist and football coach who is good friends with Hunter and knows what makes him tick (all sarcasm), it seems to me like those traits show up in his game. He can be a little tentative at times.

He is definitely quick enough to play in the NFL, and he's strong for his size. Some games he appears to have great vision. Other times, not so much. He has this weird thing where he does a fantastic job of getting to the second level, but once he gets there he totally forgets how to run. Lots of times this year I've seen him turn on the jets to slip through an impossibly small crease at the line of scrimmage only to get tentative when he finds himself alone with a safety in the open field. He can't decide whether to run over him or juke him, so he ends up making some sort of half-hearted move and goes down easy. It seems to me like very few RBs could have gotten themselves where Hunter did. But if they could, most would have done a better job of disposing of that last guy and turning it into a big gainer.

He might make a really good player in the NFL, or he might be gone after a year. I really have no idea what to expect.
