TEN - WR Kenny Britt talked with coach during lockout

Source: NFL.com

Tennessee Titans WR Kenny Britt revealed that wide receivers coach Dave Ragone contacted him during the lockout. 'I don't answer no phone calls that I don't know the area code,' Britt said in early August. 'You can even ask my coach Raggy (Ragone) about that, he's been calling me all summer long. I told him, he's got to send me a text before I'll answer it.'

Way to go Britt. Teams were not supposed to contact players during the lockout, even though we're sure there were many infractions by most every team. It's unknown if the NFL will take any disciplinary action on Britt or the Titans.

Really? I mean, way to throw your entire team under a bus there. I'm sure there are many others players who have talked to their organization during the lockout, but no one is DUMB enough to actually say it. Add that to your multiple arrests and you are a candidate for dumbest f**knut in the world. Thank god you have physical talents or you'd be in jail by now trying to sell weed to a uniformed cop. At the very least, you've earned the trust of the Titans and every other Team that will ever think of picking you up, right?

He one of those guys you trust to score as long as he makes it to the stadium on Sundays. He's like another Brandon Marshall.

it was stupidity over the summer along with his preseason injury that allowed him to completely fall under the radar and enable guys to snag him in the mid/late rounds for arguably a WR1.

When I opened this thread I expected something much, much worse.
Well, his half dozen arrests aside, I think that's already been discussed. But I don't know if you ever played ball before, but to screw your coaches like that and risk league discipline (draft picks/fines), that's pretty serious within the scope of the league. Breaking team trust is a big no-no on any level from little league on up.It'd be like Chad Ochocinco spouting that the Pats knew what the Dolphins were gonna do because they were still recording practices.

The Bucs coach said he contacted some players during the lockout. Why not rip him as well?

 I finally took him in the 8th round and was wondering why he was still there. Steal of the draft so far. (crosses fingers he doesn't do anything too stupid)
