Kent Hull passes away (1 Viewer)

2 time All Pro and one of the best Centers of all time. Major part of why Thurman Thomas, Jim Kelly, and the Bills were so good for so long.

Hull was 50 years old.

Being a Miami fan I will always remember him as mowing us over and clearing paths for the RBs to run wild. Also was deadly on screen pass set ups.

He was an excellent player. That's too young to die. RIP Kent Hull.

It seemed like Hull had a massive heart attack. Sad news as he was the glue of the Bills underrated O-line.

Hull was probably one of the best players to ever come out of Miss State. Sad day indeed.

The local paper here is saying he lost a battle with a long term illness....but they haven't said what.

There was a local article not too long arguing that Hull should be in the HOF. I know criteria for O-linemen is a little different, but I hope he gets consideration.

Was arguably the second most important player on the offense as he made all the line calls for that K-Gun offense and was a terrific blocker. The other players loved him and from all reports the media loved him even more.

Way too few O-linemen in the HOF. Hull and Dawson should both be in. Both were dominant Centers that had huge impacts on their teams' success.

That sucks. I was a big fan of those Bills teams. Think I still have an old Pro Set card signed by Hull. :(
