Kevin Boss top 5 TE week 11 (1 Viewer)

I try not to make too many crazy or off the wall predictions, but with Antonio Gates 50-50 I have been scowering the wire and I believe I have uncovered a gem for this week.

Of obvious negative note is that he is dealing with some back soreness, all though he should be fine, and that he may be used to help block Trent cole and that constant philly blitz. It doesnt concern me however for many reasons tho:

1. Off the top of my head I knew philly sucked vs tight ends (probably because they normally blitz everyone and leave te's more open). According to espn, they are ranked 30th. sucki-ness confirmed

2. Looking at game logs, he's coming off his best game, and back to back week with touchdowns.

3. More game log fun: last year vs philly: week 8 at philly: 3-70-td. week 14 home vs philly: 7-70-td. in 2008 even he had one really crap game (1-5) but also a 6-69-td

4. Michael Vick is very good, apparently. Philly will probably score a lot, forcing new york to throw to keep up.

5. According to Evan Silva, Asante Samuel will be on Manningham, and Nicks will probably see a good amount of double coverage. That leaves Kevin Boss as the only other trust option, with Smith out.

Also, Kevin inspired this song:

Indeed, like a Boss, Kevin will roll out some nice fantasy numbers this week.

nice! I picked up Boss as well I could have picked up Gresham too. I rolled the dice with a dinged up Boss. Hope youare right

Most of gresham's stats were purely garbage based, in the 4th quarter last week down by about 2 td's. He's not a bad option vs the bills but the bengals may run all day, where as there's a better chance the Giants throw more

I considered Boss and Gresham, but decided instead on Gronkowski.

not only because of his huge week last week, but after seeing what Gresham did against the Colts, I hope Gronk goes off again.

I'm inclined to agree. I think he will take over the middle of the field in the absence of smith and I think he will at least get you 50 yards and perhaps a good game of 90+ yards and a TD. All we have this week are sleepers and no real studs so top 5 is up in the air in my book. Debating whether to go with him or to go with Gates/McMichael on Monday.

Seems like Boss and Graham are popular choices this week. Anyone picking one over the other? It'd be fun to pick up Graham when he blows up, but not sure if we're just trying to outsmart ourselves there.

Currently, I have Ben Watson in my lineup over Boss. I also have Nicks and Bradshaw. Part of me wants to start Boss simply under the theory that, when the Giants are in the RZ, the ball is likely going to one of those three, and I may as well have my bases covered. Then again, if the Giants' offense lays an egg, that plan could certainly backfire...

I have Gates and am rolling with Graham. I'm hoping 5/50/TD, but would be happy with 4 catches and whatever he can do with them (we get 1 ppr with TE).
