Kevin Curtis this week = Greg Lewis last week? (1 Viewer)

In thinking about the Packer game last week and Ahmad Carroll getting cut I think that Kevin Curtis may have similar numbers this week.

Both Woodson and Harris do not give up a lot of big play TDs and Curtis will be the lone WR lined up against an unproven commodity in Patrick Dendy (a RFA I believe).

Anyone thinking Curtis could be a great sleeper play this week?

I still think Holt will get 100+ yards and a TD, but the big plays will come elsewhere IMO.

Only problem with Curtis is that he's been completely invisible so far. He has 10 total targets this season - behind guys like Ronald Curry, Bryant Johnson, Bryan Gilmore. I know that Lewis had done very littlle before last week and that's what you're comparing, but I basically think that he has done enough to actually put him in a lineup, even if this might be a better week for him than he's had so far.

Lewis got his chance to shine due mainly to injuries to Stallworth and Brown. I wouldn't expect both Holt and Bruce to get hurt for the Rams on Sunday.

The Packers' secondary is pretty poor, though, so it wouldn't be a surprise if Curtis did something. You'd have to be in real dire straits, though, in my opinion to start him. That's a pretty big gamble to take.

Exactly.Curtis is not seeing many targets because Linehan prefers to use one and 2 Te sets and not many 3 Wr sets.
