Kevin Elliott (1 Viewer)

loose circuits

Seeing a lot of chatter about this guy around the webs from the past week, but nobody at FBG's has mentioned his name. While most people are predicting Shorts or Thomas to pick up the snaps, some outlets are predicting him to start this week with Laurent out. Does anyone know anything about this guy? Looks like great size with thick legs and decent pro day numbers.

FAMU WR Kevin Elliott measured in at 6025, 210 pounds, and ran a 4.53 and 4.61 in the 40-yard dash. He had a 1.56 10-yard, 2.72 20-yard, 31 ½ inch vertical, 10’2 broad jump, 4.52 short shuttle, 6.88 3-cone, and did not bench. He had a 9 7/8 hand, 33 1/8 arm, and 79 ¼ wingspan.
seems like a lot of love on Jags MB's. Many people comparing him to Colston.

Elliot has a lot of natural ability, confidence and big time upside. He came into camp as a undrafted rookie but listening to him in interviews you would thought he was a lock to make the team. He is a gifted natural catcher and physical when the ball is in the air.

That said he needs work on route running and is not close to most rookie WRs in terms of the little things. From a dynasty perspective it is important to understand that the coaches and front office really like this guy so he should 2-3 years to prove he can contribute. Obviously a deep flyer and should not be rostered in anything but very deep dynasty leagues, but he does have that out of nowhere home run potential. I have seen the comparisons to Colston but in terms of how he plays it reminds me more of Gates, meaning he does not get that open, but wins when the ball is in the air.

You've had some nice speculative add calls before, I'll buy in - got some trash at the end of my dyno's anyway. Anyone ever actually watched him play?

He's been yo-yo'ing between my roster and the waiver wire for a few weeks in some of my deeper leagues. After the 53 man rosters were finalized I looked around the league at all of the undrafted RB/WR who had made teams. I noticed Elliott and watched some of his YouTube clips. He looks like a decent prospect.

I grabbed him after the week two game because I noticed that the coaches moved him into the WR2 position when Robinson went down injured and left Shorts in the slot. Not sure he's really talented enough to justify a long term hold, but I just grabbed him again in some leagues after seeing this topic.
