I am beginning to think that grabbing these two backs in the 4th and 6th rounds in redraft leagues (I haven't investigated their ADPs yet so this is purely guesswork) could be a nice low risk high reward scenario.
If Jones is out for the first couple of weeks then Bell is your starter until Jones is back. And I'm thinking that with the 4 receiver sets Martz is planning on using it will open up the running game. Obviously, Bell can't carry a full load, but we've seen what he can do once he gets to the 2nd level and with the DBs and LBs preoccupied with stopping Kitna and the WRs I think Bell may be able to put up very good numbers and possibly hold off Jones until Detroit is absolutely sure he is healthy.
