Highest percentage of carries among RBs on one team:

PLAYER RUSHES YARDS Kevin Jones 149 628 Brian Calhoun 7 19 Shawn Bryson 2 1 Detroit RBs have carried the ball 158 times this year. K.J. has 149 of 'em. That's about 94%!

The only reason I even thought of this is, the Lions have a pretty good offense and they have a decent fantasy playoff schedule. Jones has been dinged up here and there during his career, so I looked into picking up his backup. Then I thought to myself.... who the hell IS his backup??? Calhoun is out for the season after only seven carries. The depth chart indicates that Arlen Harris and Aveion Cason are the primary backups, and they have combined for exactly ZERO carries so far in 2006.

Does anyone else remember such a one man show in the backfield quite like this?

Oh, by the way... he also leads the team in receptions.

Well, my Coding skills suck. But Edge touched the ball 450 times, his backups had 5 total carries for 14 yards, and 4 catches for 13 yards. Edge had over 98% of the RB touches.

And in 1999, his backups had 13 carries for 28 yards, and 9 catches for 57 yards.Edge was a machine.

Whats sad(or great, depending on your POV) is that Sanders only touched the ball 340 times that year, which isnt really that excessive.Gotta love the Run N' Shoot.

week 14 - 17 - vikings, packers, bears, cowboysrange from 1st to 11th in rush defence and all have less than 100 rushing yards/game averages.doesnt look too good fantasy wise for kevin jones. i still have hope though...
