Kevin Youkilis? Regular starter, or still a spot start? (1 Viewer)

I'm in an AL only league, right now with Glaus being hurt and Teahen not exactly lighting things up, Youkilis is getting his first start of the year for me. (weekly lineups)

Boston homers, is he a real deal, or is this just a hot streak to try and ride? I know he's batting 2nd tonight, has that been his regular spot in the lineup or has he been moving around?

He has been a regular at the #2 spot almost the whole... Sometimes he will be at #4 or #6 depending on if Manny or someone gets a rest but for the most part he is the #2 hitter.

He is the real deal but not as much as his projected stats put him at... He is a very patient hitter who will work the count and draw alot of walks. He hits for good average with not a ton of power. I say his high this year would be .305 20 hr 90 rbi and low is probably .280 15 hr 80 rbi .... He should also get 100 runs. He won't hurt you in any categories.

Agreed with Fitzy except maybe in SB. If I'm giving a CI a slot who only is going to give me 20HR, I expect 100+ in R or RBI and maybe a dime at SB

His value lies in OBP/OPS leagues.

100 R easily

I say he goes for a buck fifteen runs, 80 ribs and very few SBs.

my guess

115 15 80 4 .297
