I don't know. I thought he got CJ way outside the comfort zone in that interview, which is refreshing. This interview has me![]()
Gotta admit, I stopped everything else while watching that... didn't seem like fake contentiousness at all. There was definitely some tension there. It's a compelling interview with CJ, though.
I suppose. But he's interviewed every Friday on NFL Radio and is usually quite loose.I don't know. I thought he got CJ way outside the comfort zone in that interview, which is refreshing. This interview has me![]()
He said he helped his team win. I dont think he said I made them win. It's fricken stupid, Keyshawn is so annoying, thinks he is way better than he ever was. He makes it sound like he was a big part of the Super Bowl victory, lol.
I don't get Sirius, so I only have ESPN to go by. I think Key has made a very good transition, and being loose is much a part of that (unlike Emmitt, ugh).I suppose. But he's interviewed every Friday on NFL Radio and is usually quite loose.I don't know. I thought he got CJ way outside the comfort zone in that interview, which is refreshing. This interview has me![]()
It's because they are so close that Chad knows that Key knows the truth whatever that is. Now you can see that Chad really looks up to Key and it was more of a little brother trying to find his own way when the big brother is trying to tell him the way he thinks it should be. You can tell these two guys have had some heated discussions privately. People think Key is trying to tell Chad how to play but he is really trying to warn him that the same people who are praising him will turn on him. IMOGotta admit, I stopped everything else while watching that... didn't seem like fake contentiousness at all. There was definitely some tension there. It's a compelling interview with CJ, though.
And did I say that?He said he helped his team win. I dont think he said I made them win. It's fricken stupid, Keyshawn is so annoying, thinks he is way better than he ever was. He makes it sound like he was a big part of the Super Bowl victory, lol.
He was certainly a big part of that team.He makes it sound like he was a big part of the Super Bowl victory, lol.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/wire?sectio...&id=3074722National commentators are suggesting the Bengals could trade him -- an unlikely prospect, given his age and contract. Cousin Keyshawn Johnson, a former NFL receiver, criticized him on a pregame show Sunday, saying his antics are a disruption.
I think Keyshawn tried to get the upper hand in that interview and was surprised when CJ didn't back down to his underhanded attack. It did appear a bit like the "little brother standing up to big brother" syndrome there, and Keyshawn did come across as arrogant, and did attempt to paint CJ into a corner. To Chad's credit he didn't fall for it. To his detriment he failed to say the words "All I want to do is win", though I do believe he did mean those words. I believe it is implied that winning is more important to him than the spotlight. It apparently doesn't matter to the media, they'll run with it anyway.Keyshawn was the flashlight here, CJ was the star. Still the HOF jacket thing was lame, he started the avalanche with that one. Maybe it's a karma thing. And Keyshawn is still one of the worst TV personas ever. Smug for no reason and dumb as a rock that's smart enough to have awareness, which is just enough to be dangerously stupid.
OMG that show is awful. I cant even watch it without falling asleep. The first week I thought I had just exhausted myself on football the whole weekend but itsan everyweek thing now I just turn to NFL Network. Big Upgrade!!!!!I thought it was a great interview on both sides - definitely entertaining.
I like Keyshawn a lot and I enjoy the show with Keyshawn and Parcells. I'll take Keyshawn any day over Emmitt Smith and Ditka. And certainly over any of those yahoos on Football Night in America - those guys are not good at all.
I might be alittle bias because Key is one of my all time favorite player.(not because of his play but because of how he is.) I just dont get how people can say he's no good. Ditka and Emmitt make him look like James Brown(CBS). He's well spoken and knowlegdeble of the game. Sure he's opinionated but who isn't? I also like the fact that he keeps MR. holyier than thou Jackson in check.Keyshawn is a tool. As a player he never lived up to the hype. Nice WR but not elite. As a TV personality he's a confrontational know it all.
I loved how he called out Ditka a few weeks ago and said "I had more catches than you" even though Ditka is in the H.O.F.
What a DOPE.
BRING BACK MICHAEL IRVIN. At least he kept it real. Plus he managed to piss off Steve Bung...er uhhh Young at every opportunity.
