As I'm debating picking up a new kicker, it occurred to me it's not so much about the kicker as it is the team they are playing. Seems like a good strategy would be once good red zone defenses are established, to try to pick up a kicker playing one of them for the week. Has anyone ever done any kind of breakdown of this potential strategy? I know the Bucs have a good red zone d, not sure the other top Ds though it's really too early in the year to implement this idea, probably need to wait 4-5 weeks.
