Kickers the rest of the way... (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know when Mike Herman will have ranking in Kickermania for the rest of the season? He has always come out with great kicker rankings. With the bye weeks in full swing I want to keep watch of the WW to see if someone drops a kicker because of bye weeks/roster space that I can grab and use the rest of the year that would be a top kicker.

If you want to use kicker points against(strength of schedule for kickers)....

Janikowski has solid matchups over the next 6 games.

Gould has great matchups over his next 3 games.

Suisham also has a nice schedule coming up over the next 4 games.

Fantasy crunch time sked :excited: Week 13 vs. BrownsWeek 14 vs. BroncosWeek 15 vs. ChiefsWeek 16 @ PanthersThree straight home games; no foreseeable weather issues, and they do let this dude boot it :thumbup:ETA: For those who play 'til week 17, he's @ Chargers. Nice run. :banned:

I just dropped Matt Bryant (bye) for Suisham because of his upcoming schedule. I picked him up over Legatron. I'm worried those 3 misses might get in his head. Smart move?

Look at Blair Walsh of Minnesota if he's available.

He has only 3 more games outdoors (WEEK 9 @SEA, 11 @CHI, 12 @ GB), the rest are in domes.

Also, his playoff schedule isnt awful (WEEK 14 CHI, 15 @STL, 16 HOU), all 3 of those games are in domes.

I'm on the Shayne Graham bandwagon. He rarely gets you a crazy 6 FG game, but he's solid for 8-10 points almost every week because of how much the Texans score.

I prefer a consistent score out of my kicker every week.

This week he's in the dome (money)...after that London and SF. He'll still probably outscore Suisham though.

This is my guy with Bryant resting that golden boot.

Someone in my league dropped Matt Bryant to pick up a replacement for the bye. I'm strongly considering putting in a waiver claim for him next week.

I picked up Tynes a couple weeks ago and have been very happy. That offense moves the ball a lot but stalls a good lortion of the time. I mainly got him for the late bye but think I'll keep him on my roster even for that off week.

Lindell should be a good bye-week filler this week and probably is available in most leagues. Tennessee is giving up a lot to kickers.

Picked up Phil Dawson this week @ IND. The dude's a stud but stuck on a bad-mediocre offense. However a bad IND def and in a dome means he should get multiple opportunities and he rarely misses.

Thanks for the input guys. I did pick up Janikowski. I'm hoping Mike Herman can chime in on when he will have a rest or the season ranking.

:goodposting: Picked him up when Bailey was on a bye, and he's the No. 2 K in my league.

I've been going with Tynes too. I love kickers on hi-powered offenses that have a tough schedule and/or are on a team that has trouble in the redzone.

This is the 1st year my league has only allowed 1 Kicker instead of 2 (bench slots are dictated). Has anyone else every played a league like this? Thoughts on strategy?

I drafted Shayne Graham but dropped him this week for Garret Hartley on waivers coming off his bye. I figure being one of the first guys to swap is probably a good idea. You get that many more weeks to make a claim on someone (Bryant next week possibly)

I should hopefully have that in Kickermania each week starting next week.
Thanks Mike! I've had great success with your ranking. Looking forward to next weeks update.

Same here. I didn't want to, but had to drop Matt Bryant.Janikowski was my first choice but he was not available.Dawson was second choice.

Tynes has been a top kicker all season in my league and is very much under rated imo

Might have a look at Connor Barth (TB), schedule looks pretty good (domes and/or warm weather), he's been pretty consistent, and Tampa seems like a team that could kick more field goals rather than score TDs.

Ughhh, Jason Hanson? Lions CONSISTENTLY get stopped in the redzone. And he has range up to 55 yards. No brainer right here.

Hartley or Dawson? Both are available.
