Kitna v. McCown (1 Viewer)

me thinks Kitna will throw too many interceptions. McCown while still not a stud, is entering his 5th season which is sort of like the 3rd season for WR's no?

i can see Kitna starting the season with McCown coming in sometime before midseaon and taking the reigns. the only thing I don't know about McCown is is leadership ability. Kitna had it while in Cincinnati and that might help him to remain the starter for the entire year.

i just don't get why everyone is just giving the starter job and such high projections to Kitna. Was McCown really that "lost" in Arizona?

Every single bit of news from the Lions this offseason has Kitna in command of the #1 job, while McCown has looked so lost that he might lose the #2 job to Dan Orslovsky.

Im a big McCown fan too, don't get me wrong. But it sounds like its very unlikely he'll be given a shot unless Kitna fails miserably.
