(Rotoworld) Bills FS Troy Vincent left Sunday's opener with a strained hamstring.Impact: Rookie Ko Simpson is next on the depth chart. If Vincent misses Week 2, Buffalo might have two first-year starting safeties.

I was pretty high on Simpson coming into this year. I haven't seen a lot of him this pre-season or week one. How has he looked? Should be be able to step in right away and take over?

He looked good in camp. Good ball skills, good tackler. A lot of fans would be happy if he were starting now.

I also picked up Simpson late in our dynasty rookie draft, so I've been keeping an eye on him.

Didn't watch the BUF-NE game, so I don't know how bad Vincent's injury is, or when in the game it happened, but Simpson's 4-3 tackle line in the game seems promising...

Bills fan here. He has looked like a "future" star. He is going to have growing pains especially playing for a rookie Def. Coordinator like Fewell and alongside a rookie SS in Whitner. I am disappointed that Troy Vincent got hurt because his leadership on the field is not replaceable however his declining skill level is becoming a detrement. And Ko Simpson was going to be starting for the Bills by the end of the year even if Vincent is/was healthy.

As long as you don't expect great things from Simpson this season, I would think he will be a solid Dynasty pick up.
