Kolb to start in week 6 (1 Viewer)

If Kolb plays lights out again next week he keeps the job. Either way, Philly is in great shape. Vick will be healthy after the bye.

So looks like Kolb is no scrub after all. Funny how everyone was so quick to judge after less then a half of play against GB and a concussion later.

I have always liked this guy, he is serious about the game and is going to be a great NFL QB. I think losing DeSean will be a big blow to the offense, but Maclin is a stud WR. Also Avant is one of the most underrated WR's in the whole NFL in my opinion I could see him being a great WW pickup this week.

Kolb is way more dependent on O-Line play than Vick is. Kolb is going to suck when the O-Line sucks. They played horribly against Green Bay but they played well against Atlanta.

I think Vick will start again when he is healthy for that reason.

In the offseason, Vick will sign a rich deal with another team, Kolb will become the undisputed starter, and the O-Line will be addressed. In 2011 (if there is no lockout), Kolb should have many more games like yesterday's.

This is what I'm talking about. Kolb actually threw for 253 and 1. It is what it is, no matter what excuse is made. As another poster said, Cassel actually did throw for 3 TDs vs. San Fran and he STINKS!!! So why the unnecessary hype. Kolb played an average game vs. a average defense. That's it, no need to sugercoat. On to Atlanta.
Sooo...... how did he do in Atlanta? <_<
He did great against Atlanta. His performance spoke for itself, do you guys want to make excuses about how he could have thrown for 500 and 5 TDs IF...IF...IF...IF? :lmao:

John Abraham on the Eagles Offense: "What we prepared for was totally different from what they did... They did more tricks ... and they did plays to slow down our line. They did a great job. We prepared excellent for what they were doing. They just came out with something different."

Kudos to the Eagles offense for their creativity.

Kudos to Kolb for executing it nearly flawlessly.

No doubt about that. It seemed like every running play that there were no Falcons even near the line of scrimmage where the ball carrier was. Lots of misdirection.

Oh you "know" that or are you just assuming. I have Vick and Kolb rostered. Started McNabb yesterday and probably will go Kolb next week. I hope you're still good with it. :P

Hard to argue with a guy that starts his 5TH NFL GAME and puts up these numbers is going to be here to stay. Atlanta was the NFC darlings that everyone was starting to hype up, Marty brought a brilliant game plan to the table for Kolb and Kolb ran it to perfection.

I think week 7 will be a tough task for Kolb, maybe much like the Green Bay type of pass rush he saw in week one, but I think he will be more prepared and not as timid. Week 7 I can see the McCoy show coming back to town and Kolb putting up solid 225 yds and 1 TD type of numbers.

Wow, you have been starting McNabb over the better QB's on your roster? It's tough sticking with team colors at the expense of your fantasy team, but we are glad to see you finally realize it. :bs: Welcome aboard, Son.Back on subject: It looks like Kevin starts again. Its not announced yet, but should be shortly.

That really deserves a wow. More inflation and hype I guess. It's only been two weeks I had to decide between the two guy. McNabb was the right decision the 1st week, Kolb scored higher the second week. Yeah I finally realized it after his first good game.
