Per Peter King, Kyle Shanahan apparantly wanted the Texans to draft John Beck 10th overall in the 2007 draft.

Fortunately, the Texans decided to go a different route and traded two 2nd round picks to Atlanta for Matt Schaub.
Unfortunately, they used the 10th pick on Amobe Okoye.
