I decided to drop L.J. the week after Kolby Smith started. He was picked up by someother team in my league who is no longer in the playoff picture. What has saved my season was a trade i made for Ryan Grant at the final week of trades after his 2nd start. Brandon Marshall was the price I paid.

So L.J. owners are you still alive? and if so what have you done to stay in the hunt?

I've been benching him for a few weeks and starting somebody else in his place. IMO that's been the best strategy with him.

Traded him for Gore, Winslow and Giants D...Had to move on.

In the semis with LJ. Primarily a mix of hitting on WRs and a nice late round Roethlisberger pick panning out, along with some WW help ( kolby smith, Fred jackson ). That and a whole bunch of luck in matchups.

I held LJ but an opponent had picked Priest as soon as he was cleared to play (he was desperate for a running back) So I was left with KSmith. I felt KSmith had a better shot in the long run since I didn't trust the Padre. Turned out I was right, but I'm not exactly patting myself on the back. I kind of fell into the situation and frankly, KSmith has had only one good game and that was in week 12. He's been less that average since.

I've made it with Manning, ADP, Fred Taylor and good suport from my WRs Welker and BMarshall. New England Defense has helped a well. That and scoring more then my opponents.

Sounds pathetic but Bree's, T Henry, Burress, Packers D, Janakowski Fargas knocked out our #1 seede last week. time will tell if this hodgepodge of players can pull it off off 2 more weeks

traded AJ for Earnest Graham,and couldn't be happier.used waiver p/u's like Maurice Morris and Fred Jackson.

had a bye last week but will probably be clobbered tomorrow. Forced to choose between Fred Jackson, Julius Jones, Chris Brown to replace LJ and start with Portis. Going with Jackson and praying heavily.

I headed into the season with LJ, Marshawn Lynch and Ahman Green as my top 3 RB picks. Yowza.

I started the season 1-3 but then went on to win 8 of my last 10, and the last 6 in a row, with moves like:

- picked up Derrick Ward for his couple of decent games early in the year

- picked up Kolby Smith for his one great game against the Raiders

- traded Selvin Young to the Travis Henry owner (at the height of the "Travis Henry might get suspended" scare

in the middle of the season) and received Lendale White right before his 3 week run of very good games.

Of course, the main reason I'm still alive this weekend is the waiver wire additions of Ryan Grant

and Earnest Graham, who I'll be riding into the playoffs for better or worse.

I'm in the semi-finals this week and still have the option to franchise LJ for '08 if KC makes some off-season improvements. If not I will probably keep Grant or MJD.

16 team league. Took LJ at 1.3 and Steve Smith at 2.14, yet I am still in it. I am 10-3 so far. I had a bye last week and would say I am favored to win this week. Next I will most likely play the #1 seed, who has both Brady and Westbrook and would be 13-1.

I have stayed in it by excelling at other positions besides RB. I have Romo (draft), Wayne (draft), Cotchery (draft), Gates (trade), Folk (waivers), and the Colts D (waivers) in my starting lineup. Unfortunately, I have to start 2 of these RBs each week: Chris Brown, Gado, Travis Henry, Stecker, and Deangelo Williams.

Man I wish I had Henry. I'm going with Brees, D Walker, Fred Jackson, Braylon, Hopefully Boldin, Marshall, Tony G, Tampa D, and whoever my kicker is. One bright spot is that I took out the Brady owner last week so I'm not facing an unbeatable team but they were 11-2 and beat me twice in the regular season. I just want to get to the champiosnhip because it would be my 4th straight year and I will have done it as a huge underdog when usually I'm the favorite. Plus the money difference between 2nd and 4th is $300 to $0.
