Lamont Jordan may get shut down vs Titans (1 Viewer)

I have a bad feeling about Lamont Jordan this week.

I am debating playing him this week vs The Titans, but I don't know if I can do it. The Titans are tough against the run + with other options (D.Wynn,K.Watson,MJD) I am leaning towards sitting him this week.

Anybody have any thoughts about Jordan one way or the other this week?

I think I would avoid Jordan like the plague this week against one of the better run defenses this week.

If the rumors about Rhodes being released pan out, I think that could be good sign for Jordan owners. Not sure about your WDIS, but wouldn't expect too much out of either.

I still like him in ppr leagues this week. He should get about 4-6 catches or so which will pad his stats somewhat.

This is what is so good about the NFL. Almost all the sites have Jordan shutdown this week. I happen to like him this week because of it.

I think that is a smart answer. I also think Rhodes should not be cut unless they are that confident in Fargas. IMO it just seems like a bizarre move to bring him in for a lucrative two year deal and cut him. I think that the Raiders will have to bank on screens and the passing game this weekend, so I think LJ might take a hit.

Not quite sure where (maybe Yahoo), but I did see a quote from jordan saying "It's (my back) the best it's felt this year"..... or something very close to that.

Even if he is 100% healthy I don't like him vs the Titans.

Lamont Jordan is just awful on the road. Combine that with the Titans' Defense, and it's a very bad combo.
