At 28 years old and a whopping 648 career carries and 1 year removed from a 1600 yard season, what could a 235 pound back possibly offer a team with a shaky qb, te, and wr situation?
The new coaches will undoubtedly want to can the only positive thing they have on offense because he performed poorly on a high school offense.

He was top 6 in PPG in 05. So IMO he holds good value.Sure there is a risk but there is also first round type numbers as a reward..He is a but low player. I have him and im not selling. I would rather take the risk and maybe end up with nothing, than not getting much for him. JMO
He is a bit of a risk because his situation is a bit unclear at this point. If you already have him, you should probably keep him around. You are not going to get much for him right now.
In a $220 salary cap keeper league I was offered Jordan $1, Randy Moss $20 and Garry Brackett $1 for Willis $49. I could use the cap relief, but I have no idea what Willis or Jordan will be worth next year.
I think how the Raiders handle Fargas (FA) will speak volumes. There are no other RBs on the Raiders. Also, to be a "buy low" Lamont needs to recover from the knee injury

With a pending rookie qb starting next year, and a sieve of an offensive line, I dont like the prospects of Jordan at all for at least next year. Until that team improves, Lamont will be stuck in the mud.
He's an interesting trade target. There's a lot of Peterson to OAK talk on these boards, but IMO, it'll never happen. Fargas and Jordan aren't world beaters, but they're certainly adequate.
What I'm saying is that I don't expect Oakland to burn an early pick on a back, which means it should come down to Fargas and Jordan next season. I like Fargas, but at this point I'd have to give Jordan the advantage in that battle.
