Lance Briggs: Saboteur? (1 Viewer)

When Lovie Smith was let go and Brian Urlacher was not offered a contract to return to the Bears roster following the 2012 season, Lance Briggs took his ball and went home. He has done nothing but sulk like a petulant child since then and has caused a nearly tangible cavernous gap within the Bears locker room. The 2014 season is essentially lost and it is in big part to Lance Briggs and his purposeful dismantling of the locker room. His buddies are gone and he has not proven to be a professional by the poor decisions and immature actions he has shown since. If Marc Trestman wants any chance of saving his name among Bears players and fans, he should cut or at the very least deactivate Lance Briggs NOW. Do not let him sabotage the Bears any longer by being on the field in his careless and out of shape manner as he did in week 17 last season. Do not let him continue to poison the minds of young players by saying that he zones out his coach in meetings and is counting the minutes until he can leave as he recently has. If he is in such a big rush, let him leave NOW!!! I'm sure he is needed at his restaurant much more than in the locker room.

As a die hard Bears fan, no player has ever let me down like Lance Briggs. He was a great player up until the moment his pal's Lovie and Brian left. Since then, he has stolen money and time from the Bears organization and fans.

I hope he signs with Green Bay next year so he can complete his transition from hero to saboteur.

This is the same guy that cried about not being paid like a pro-bowler a year after signing a new contract with a giant signing bonus.

bear down

He should have been released as soon as he said he had to skip practice for his restaurant opening. That's stuff retired people do, open restaurants in California.

:goodposting: Terrible job by Trestman letting him go.
One of many blunders
