Practicing or not?

This is really critical for anyone with a NO player. If Moore doesn't play, it could make Meachem or Henderson more relevent and possibly PT too.Practicing or not?![]()

Just saw on NFL network that Lance Moore is listed as "OUT." I'm definitely worried. My personal experience may be colored by past fantasy seasons, but it seems like an injury that can linger.Anyone think Moore may miss significant time or be less than 100% for much of the year?
He did not have surgery.Interested to hear thoughts from any of the homers on whether this will be a multi-week injury going forward? This has been going on awhile. Anyone think Moore may miss significant time or be less than 100% for much of the year? Or is this just a one week thing? Didn't he have surgery on his groin?
It has already been a multi-week injury. That's what bothers me. Groin and hamstring injuries, as far as I know and have experienced, are things that tend to linger unless you let them heal completely. Moore injured his hamstring prior to the third preseason game. He missed the last two preseason games and practiced late last week. He's now missed practice this week and is out for the season opener. So, he didn't let it heal and now he may have aggravated the injury that already kept him out for two weeks. He did not have surgery.Interested to hear thoughts from any of the homers on whether this is a multi-week injury. This has been going on awhile. My impression is that NO tends to exploit the weakness of their opponent, if they can. If they think that the weakness is covering the TE, the TE will be fed the ball. If it is covering the HB in the flat, the HB is going to see a lot of dump passes. If it is covering multiple set WRs, there will be lots of WR multiple sets. So, to me, the question really is this: what is the weakness of the GB defense? Where are they most vulnerable? I don't know this and am really asking for Packer homers to help out.Lot of disturbing things here for me. -If he is OUT this week, how could he be 100% next week? He might not really be effective for 3-4 weeks which is fine if you took him as a WR4/5 for possible bye weeks but a lot of owners invested a little more in him. -If he is out, I agree with other posters pippin Sproles and Thomas. Meachem and Henderson are OK but I would think NO will try and utilize their advantage in the RB trio they have. -Jimmy Graham as others said and IMO will be very active and have a chance at even more receptions. -What happens if Colston misses tie? Is it Meach and Henderson? That could be scary and I'm not talking scary good either. -Lance Moore is not the entire offense by any stretch but he bails his QB out pretty good.
Jimmy Graham hasn't looked that goood???? are you serious pal? Have you been watching the same games as me... He didn't start last year as a rookie and still put up 5 tds in about less then half a season. He has looked super impressive in the preseason and Brees seems to like him. Now with shockey gone and a year to mature, he could be a sleeper top 5 te this year.. He is tall, athletic, great hands, good route runner, and a beast in the redzone. I appreciate posts and love when you elaborate, but please don't piss in the shark pool and give screwey info.'rainram said:I'm really interested in thoughts on Robert Meachem...and have been since the preseason.Colston's been dinged up and relatively unimpressive. Moore is now injured...and it may bug him all year. And even when he's healthy, he's the slot guy.For all the Jimmy Graham talk, he hasn't been very good IMHO.I am curious how and why Meachem is ranked as low as he is? I don't want people to just say he'll have a good year because that may be what I want to hear. I mean, if he's really just an average WR in a great situation, whose ceiling is capped...so be it. I just wish there was a legit WR stud on this team (whether it's a great WR1 or two good WR2's), and I'm not seeing it. My knowledge of all things related to the Saints' Offense is pretty superifical. WHhich is to say, I know they pass a lot and score a lot. They have a great OLine. Great QB. Great Head Coach/OC.I guess I'm looking for information from people who follow the Saints closely and are objective about it.

They've historically had trouble with good TEs. I think Graham is a strong play this week (most weeks usually but I admit I'm very high on him this season). They could put Woodson on Graham but I'd then expect Brees to target Colston constantly. I think Graham stands to benefit most from Moore's absence although it wouldn't surprise me if Payton had big plans for Graham regardless of whether Moore played or not.So, to me, the question really is this: what is the weakness of the GB defense? Where are they most vulnerable? I don't know this and am really asking for Packer homers to help out.
Also Colston gets 1000 and 8 on average every year, lol....and looked dang good in the third preseason game.
