LaRod Stephens-Howling (1 Viewer)

Arizona homers especially, but anyone with some insight...what can this guy do? It seems like if Tim Hightower continues being the starter, they are going to need to have someone make plays, and it looks like Stephens-Howling might be up for the task. 49 rushing yards last week.

What kind of back is he, and is his value going to continue to rise?

LSH has made plays when given the opportunity. Coaching staff emphasized numerous times this off season the desire to get the ball in his hands more often. Speedy edge runner, shifty, not a between the tackles guy. 5'7" 180, played behind McCoy at Pitt. Has been a pleasant surprise since he arrived, special teams deamon. He could explode for a couple big games at RB this year, but not a long term legitimate fantasy contributor imo.

near term (till beanie is playing), he's a TH fumble or 2 away from some serious PT. even if that doesn't happen, he should get around 15 touches combined today.

when wells gets back, he's almost worthless. maybe a limited role like Faulk in NE.

ETA: maybe a biased optimistic post, since I'm starting him in a 14 team $$ league today w/ Wells out.

Short term I wouldn't be surprised if he had a big game, and you gotta love his nickname "the hyphen".

In leagues that give points for return yards, you should stash him on your roster. He returns kicks and does a pretty good job of it. If he ever gets more PT at RB, he'll be a very good play in those leagues.

Absolutely love the guy. :) Great compliment to Timmy. It's amazing how the Cardinals hit on their later round picks. :D
