Some of my leaguemates here at FBG can vouch that I have a HUGE LJ MANCRUSH... anyway..
Wait Pray for another good game and then deal the Big Man. Unfortunately this team can't hold a lead and once they get behind LJ's a forgotten man. KC doesn't even pass to hm when they're down and it seems like Charles is slowly becoming the one catching passes out of the backfield.
Now don't get me wrong, if KC has a team by the throat then the rock is going to Johnson until they beat you into submission ...but do you really wanna put your money on KC getting and holding a lead?
FWIW,
I sold off for Gore after LJ's Denver Adventure. Almost cried myself to sleep, but I'm feeling pretty good about it now. (7 touches for 2 yards?? ...who does this kinda ####?)
There will be no team that will route them in KC. None in the league. NE couldn't do it, and Denver lost outright. They will hang with teams at home, which is half the battle right there. I'm telling you, if you like 1500 and 10, hold onto LJ. If you want a 3 headed monster, trade him for Earnest Graham. If you can get a bush/gore/SJax type in a package deal, do it immediately. If you're getting offers for Grant/addai/MJD, its fools gold. Thats the point I'm making here. Guys like MJD and grant, everyone is looking at as buy low's, they'll turn it around. I have my doubts on that, and would rather hold onto LJ. And if I can buy him on the cheap, will attempt to do so...
The NE game was in NE, and clearly, the Brady injury took the wind out of the Pats sails. The OAK game was in KC, and Oakland just pushed them around like a JV team.
I would take MJD or Addai for him in a heartbeat, Id add more on the LJ side to get it done. half a heartbeat. Probably Grant too, although he comes with the risk of Rodgers going down and that offense looking like KCs for the rest of the year.
LJ will have 3 or 4 decent to great games over the rest of the season, but you're going to have to absorb 7 or 8 week-killers to get those games.
