Felix Jones was charged with a fumble...wasnt it an illegal lateral or something other than a fumble?

Nope. Fumble. Nothing illegal. Also credited with -4 yards on reception Lost another point.

Wow, I just noticed this on MFL as well. Now that I think about it though, I think it was the right call. A lateral like that is a live ball, so I think it is a fumble.That sucks.

There's no such thing as an illegal lateral.

There IS such a thing as an illegal forward pass, but that's not what Jones did. (And if it HAD been a forward pass, the Jets could have declined the penalty and Jones still would have been charged for the turnover.)

Got to love how the last play only matter for fantasy purposes. I lost a bunch of points b/c of it. Sigh!

I lost by 1 before they counted the fumble from Felix. Now I lost by 3 so it doesn't hurt as much anymore He looked great nonetheless against a good run D.

MFL somehow has him credited with an extra catch as well. So if you play PPR, you'll lose a little bit more.
