I wouldn't think Gado would be on many WWs in leagues of 10 or 12 teams. Duckett certainly would be.

Not sure If I would say harris has a nice shedule. He has the Vikings and Bears still to come.
Why do you think Houston will be the man? Washington has had some success as has Barlow...at best it will continue to be a 3 headed monster I would think.

Hey its all relative dude. Week 9 the Raiders are visiting Seattle, who has one of the worst defenses on the planet this year and they make them look like the '85 Bears. Week 11, Mr. Brooks is back and the Raiders go into Arrowhead against a pretty formidable defense (at least at home) and they stay in the game until the last minute.sorry but.....rotflmao
I think that Houston (on a per carry basis, visually and not statistically) clearly has the most upside. He is the most powerful, short yardage back, yet can still run through holes in between the tackles. Out of the 3 I think that he has the best prospects for generating decent starting RB quality stats late in the 2006 season. Mangini also doesn't have a lot of vested capital in any of these RBs and certainly will play the hot hand to the extent that one of them starts producing better results.
Both of these guys are available in my league. I have 2 good backs, but lost some depth with Jordan going down and was thinking of replacing him with Fargas. However, the Redskin schedule is fairly sweet and Duckett could get a great opportunity to run over his former team. In a non-ppr league, who would you prefer for the rest of the year - Duckett, Gado or Fargas?
I don't have time to look at strength of schedule right now, but only Fargas is effectively without competition for playing time given Jordan's injury; Duckett is competing with Betts and Gado with Lundy and Dayne. Unfortunately, Fargas is also playing for the worst team and worst offense. Gado's actually gotten two decent games back to back and, of interest, got a goalline carry. Duckett is not much of a pass catcher and still figures in primarily as a short-yardage back - the statements I made about Duckett taking over most of the work from Betts are purely my impression. I would probably rank them as follows:GadoDuckettFargasAll are "flawed" in different ways, but it's a statement about how little I think about the Raiders' ability to generate scoring opportunities that I have Fargas ranked last.
Thanks for the followup, redman. I'm interested in Duckett but I worry about Sellers stealing TDs - which Duckett has to have to be valuable.You don't seem to like Betts much as an everydown back, do you? Or is it just a question of his fit with Washington?
