According to the Boston Herald, Laurence Maroney has torn cartilage in his rib cage and his status is uncertain for Sunday's game vs. Houston.
Maroney, listed as questionable with a back injury, has said for the past two weeks that he feels fine and has been begging to play but reportedly wasn't cleared by Patriots medical staff before the team's Week 14 game.
