Laurent Robinson tonight (1 Viewer)

I've been one of those owners who has benefitted greatly from Robinson's performances these last few weeks. But in an elimination game, I (and probably many others of you) can't afford to get this one wrong.

Anyone in Texas getting updates today know if he's good to go for tonight's game? All I really care strongly about is health...I believe that all things equal, if he's good to go he'll be the Cowboys' #1 fantasy scoring receiver this week. Thanks!

I made a big mistake last week...this week I will not make the same mistake.

Starting both Robinson and Austin.

NO info really......

But, FWIW, I'm starting Laurent over Santonio and Santana Moss. Although, I'm considering Moss instead. He has a good matchup. I'm going against the Miles Austin owner.......hoping they cancel eachother out or more.

Romo has good chemistry with Robinson. He's been the Cowboys most consistent receiving threat for most of the year, and definately for several games in a row now.

IMO, all of the Cowboys WR's are startable this week. The Cowboys WILL throw a lot with D.Murray out and Miles back. Miles/Dez/Laurent/Witten, sprinkle in some Felix, against a bad D sounds like fantasy gold to me. And if its not, it shoulda been, dang it!

I have Robinson, Mike Wallace, and Nate Washington. Wish Roethlisberger was healthy because it would make my decision so much easier. :wall:

he's listed as questionable, but played well last week with the shoulder. There was no news that he aggrivated it or had a set back.

Right now I have him in over Crabtree, but I may waver. Crabtree's been playing good and is the #1 option, though they don't pass nearly as much.

Maybe--but not me; I'm sitting Dez. Hard to fathom as he's been my #1 this season but it's just too risky with so few targets and I'm playing the Demaryous care instead.

Laurent Robinson is expected to play - won't get official word until 90 min previous.

not trying to hi-jack thread, but I got Dez, Colston and Larry Fitz. Have started Fitz every week, and am this week. If Laurent doesnt start, does Dez become a better matchup v TB, than Colston vs Minny?

Right now I got Colston in. I just read Robinson is a little gimpy, but seems he will play. I guess I will look again around 8pm and see.

:hijacked: Dez Bryant will draw the toughest matchup this week against Tampa’s top corner Aqib Talib. He’ll still be a solid WR2 but I prefer Miles Austin because he’ll draw easier coverage.Laurent Robinson continues to produce weekly and opposing teams will continue to pay more attention to Austin and Bryant, leaving Robinson with an exploitable matchup. For those reasons he will continue to produce as a low-end WR2.

Dallas WR Laurent Robinson told ESPN's Bob Holtzman he is playing tonight vs. TB. Robinson added his role now is only mostly in 3 wides.

gut feeling that Dez owners that dont play him are gonna regret it.

He was almost non-existent last week. I'm thinkin Garrett is gonna make a point to get him the ball. Again, just a gut feeling.

Hmmm, i might play Austin after hearing this.

This is the only thing i'm worried about, snap count. But, it didnt matter last week. Austin and Dez will be on the field more, but Robinson seems to click with Romo...........decisions

Just saw that, too. Starting to lean toward starting D. Thomas vs. New England (have Tebow starting, too).

Crap, this is a tough decision.

How does this compare to his role last week? Was he used in the same capacity? Need to decide between him and Demaryius Thomas at the last minute here!

Thanks a ton Saints, great info here. I think Austin and L. Rob are both great plays tonight. I think I'll lean Austin due to L. Robs gimpyness tonight but still a good play.

Lrob told Bob Holtzman of ESPN that he's gonna play... but that his role is mostly in 3WR sets... FWIW. HTH. GL.

CB E. J. Biggers for the Bucs - who would he be covering?

"Cornerback E.J. Biggers is likely to cover Miles Austin, and that will be a real key matchup. Biggers has been toasted by good receivers the past two seasons."

http://www.bloggingtheboys.com/2011/12/16/2640695/cowboys-bucs-5-questions-with-bucs-nation

Or:

"The secondary for the Buccaneers is a veteran group with Ronde Barber and Aqib Talib at the corners with E.J. Biggers at the nickel spot. There is plenty of contact down the field from this secondary, so the Bucs do struggle with penalties. When the Cowboys bring their three-receiver package on the field, Barber will move inside over Miles Austin, leaving Biggers on the outside. With Biggers on the field, look for Garrett to do all he can to throw the ball in his direction. Biggers gives opposing receivers a lot of room to run their routes, and he's not physical enough to handle any of these Cowboys receivers."

When the Cowboys are passing, it's very, very often in 3WR sets. Don't read into this and think he won't perform. Austin does most of his best work in 3WR sets (in the slot) and Dez still commands attention, leaving Robinson in some one-on-one situations and he will torch this secondary.

yea i sat robinson,i read into it too much.there up by so many points right now i can see them sitting romo, dez, witten and robinson and running felix for the rest of the night.no sense getting any wr or qb injured! yes i have felix going lol!
