I know this surely comes across as callous, but we all saw this coming, right?
I'm going to hell for laughing at this.Man, he really took the news of the Rams' move from St. Louis hard.
I'm somewhat shocked that it was suicide. I would have gone with "killed by cellmate".I know this surely comes across as callous, but we all saw this coming, right?
I saw him trending on Twitter and figured the same (unless he had committed another murder in prison). When I saw it bumped figured he was dead. RIP
Same. When I saw it bumped figured he was dead. RIP
That's the first thing I thought. His plans on making a triumphant return to St. Louis were now all screwed up.Man, he must've taken this Rams news hard.
I guess it was just too much for him to handle. The Rams were coming to him. That's the first thing I thought. His plans on making a triumphant return to St. Louis were now all screwed up.Man, he must've taken this Rams news hard.
I dont see a whole lot of playmaking in that highlight reel either.Did you watch those clips? Sure their offensive line was great, but he created a lot on his own.I notice those are all Nebraska highlights. Has anyone mentioned that his offensive line opened gigantic holes?Like Richardson, he didn't fail due to lack of talent. This guy is one of the main reasons that RBs are much more scrutinized coming out of college. It's important to ascertain if the back has real talent, or if he was the product of an offensive line behind which Dom DeLuise would have averaged 8 YPC. And oh yeah, Phillips was/is a rotten guy too.

The one and only.Like Richardson, he didn't fail due to lack of talent. This guy is one of the main reasons that RBs are much more scrutinized coming out of college. He definitely lost a step or two. It is a shame someone that gifted athletically and could have lived such a blessed life, had a few loose screws. RIPLadsud said:The burst is gone.
Not speaking for DB here, but I could see CTE making a bad situation worse. Either one or both could be at play here.He had a very messed up childhood. Pretty much lived in a crack house then abandoned by crackhead mom. Spent a big part of his childhood in group homes or foster care.I could see CTE maybe being involved here.
Not making excuses for him. He was given plenty of chances. Just never got things straight.
