Hi. This calculation explanation is given at the bottom of the Matchup page. I'm not doubting it, I'd just like to understand it. It would seem that when you're an underdog you would want to increase variance and not have your points controlled by the opposing QB. Am I wrong in this thinking? Just curious, thanks!Across a matchup, owning the WR for you opponent's QB means it is slightly more likely that your two lineups score more similarly; again, a good thing only if you're the underdog.
