Do you think auto setup of the previous lineup is a good policy?

In a new-this-year dynasty league, a couple of owners failed to set lineups for week 11. This was the first time something like this happened. One owner was out of town, set a lineup in a hurry before leaving, but failed to click on "Submit." The other owner has been online since, but hasn't offered an explanation.

Most if not all of the other leagues I'm in this year, and the past 2 years, use the previous week's lineup if an owner fails to set a lineup. Since this question isn't about who to start, trades, etc., I wasn't really sure of the best place to ask. But since I'm guessing this is the gathering place of the "cognicente," I think you're the right group to chime in with your opinions.

I'll share the result with the league as we try to decide how to handle this situation for now, and for the future.

Thanks! :penalty:

Only in week one, and only to start the first player(s) drafted at each position. Otherwise, we just leave it to the previous week's lineup. A league opens itself up to too many questions if they do it during the season. Nobody should be making judgment calls about someone else's lineup. The only way I can think of an exception was if you had proof that someone was tanking for the benefit of another team.
