Just curious how your league scores Kickoff / Punt returns for TD...

We generally award ONLY the DEF/ST that returned the TD and ignore the individual player (ex: Jones-Drew). I assumed most leagues scored it the same way... However, a guy in my league argues that BOTH should get credit for the TD.

What say ye?

Only in my IDP leagues does a STs TD count for that player.

I've never seen it scored both. I've have DEF/ST scoring where all returns will fall to the team, and i've had DEF scoring ( no ST ) and return TDs are awarded to the individual player.

Both get it in both my leagues. At one time one of the leagues didn't play special teams so only the player got it.

There are as many scoring variations in Fantasy Football as there are Fantasy Football Leagues.

How does your league score return TD's for OFFENSIVE players?KR/PR guys are RB's, WR's and DB's. Our league scores everything to the individual only. But, we do IDP, not team defense.What do your rules say?

In my IDP leagues the player gets the points no matter where he plays MJD runs a KO back = Devon running a KO back. If the league has a ST position, then only the ST gets credit.

We do both. We also give return yards at 1/25 (same as QB yards) as a way to bump up WR value and give a deeper WR pool and also credit 0.5 per catch plus 1/10 yds for RB/WR to get the points into the low 100's. High point guy will have 115-135 pts for the week typically.

BTW, since DB isn't a scoring position in our non-IDP league, we can't get any points for Devin Hester.

I should've added that it wasn't an IDP League...

...and standard performance based scoring as well.

In both of my leagues the DST and the player get scores.

If he has Jax D/St and had MJD slotted as an RB - he gets points in both categories. Smart play by him imho.
