League wide draft - what non-QBs go in the 1st round? (1 Viewer)

If the NFL threw every player, from every roster into a pool and drafted them, like a rookie draft, what non-QBs would be selected in the 1st round? To name a few, I would guess:Demarcus WareJoe ThomasJake LongCalvin JohnsonDarrelle RevisNdamukong SuhAdrian Peterson
I don't know about AP. Realistically, he only has 1 or 2 more years as an elite player left. I'd put Clay Matthews, DeMarcus Ware, D'Brickashaw Ferguson, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Haloti Ngata off the top of my head.
While I do think Peterson has much more than 1-2 years, you very well could be right. He is the only RB I think that would be considered and he would no doubt go late in the round. Jason Pierre-Paul seems like a bigger reach to me, however. He has only started a handfull of games - right? He is not even the best player on his team.
He starts now, and he's a freakish talent and he has 6.5 sacks through 5 games. I think some GM would fall in love with the combination of potential and production that he offers in a hypothetical redraft.
Wow. I remember the kid from the draft and thought he was a good talent. I had no idea his sack total was what it was.
I believe he finished last year with 4 sackes in the last 6 games, as well. Also dominated this years preseason fwiw. The fact that he is on the same D-line as Tuck and Osi, two polished and pro-bowl caliber d-liners, and it can be argued he's the best of the bunch shows how awesome he is. He also has 27 tackles in 5 games. On pace for 85+ tackles to go with his 21 sack pace.

I think it's pretty clear now that JPP would go in the top 15 of this hypothetical re-draft if it were to happen. Dude's amazing.
