Lego Batman Movie (1 Viewer)

LEGO just does everything right. Their toys, their movies, their video games. It really is amazing. All their toys are expensive but money well spent IMO. I dont mind spending money on high quality products.
Have you seen the Lego Brickumentary? I think it's still on Netflix. Good watch and you see how close they were to going under in the early 2000's. The Star Wars prequel sets starting in '99 were basically keeping them afloat until a new regime turned things around. If Lucas never did those movie, or Lego didn't get that license, who know what would have happened.

Yes I did. Great documentary

I don't buy the sets because who wants to build something once and leave it on the shelf? Takes away the creativity. Give me a box of misc. pieces any day.
I 100% agree. This is my main gripe with Legos.
It used to be that you buy a big set, you can build tons if different items and buildings. Now, you overpay for a set and you get fewer pieces that only fit together to make one thing.

So I may have been missing an obvious reference. The Joker made a comment about never being defeated by Batman and the speaker thingy said 'what about the time with the two boats?'

Why am I drawing a blank on that one?

The kids I took were perplexed by Sauron.  Couldn't figure out what was so bad about an eye on a tower.

My kids enjoyed it.  Lots of one liners, worth seeing again but maybe a touch below the first LEGO movie. Still fun for the whole family.
