its early, but if he continues this torrid pace (& stays healthy), he could have one of the statistically best seasons for a rookie WR ever... OTOH, the TD sunday was result of bad tackle... he could easily have been 3 - 50 with no TD...it looks like GB isn't running ball as well as they used to, are giving up a lot of points & may need to throw a lot all year to stay in games, & he clearly has trust & confidence of favre early on... these all bode very well for his 06 season... it will be tough to beat bush, but through three games, bush, jennings & demeco ryans look like three best rookies (& arguably maroney... cutler & leinart look like they excel, too, once given opportunity, based on hos advanced they looked in pre-season)...the thing that has impressed me the most in early going is he is a very explosive open field runner...
EXACTLY, all of you who are creaming your pants over yesterday, that TD could have possibly been the worst job of tackling ever. Start hin next week against Philly and you'll see exactly what you have.
Of course, Shaun Alexander never had a TD in his career because of poor tackling playing against the Cards / Rams / 49ers run defense 6 times per year for the last 5 years...If we substract those 35 TDs... his career total goes from 91 to 56...

This guy has moved up to my #2 WR. Along side Driver as my #1.
I'd be careful putting all your eggs in Brett Favre's basket.
This wasnt by choice. But the fact is, he is a better option right now than Horn or Matt Jones. Jones will likely be in there also.Oh, I am starting Ahman too.
Nobody would of ever planned it thay way, but its the best you got. You can always try and trade Driver for a top WR on a different team.

For some reason, Driver is perpetually undervalued. The fact is, Green Bay has a history of having two good, even two top 10 (or more likely top 15) WRs. Driver and Javon for example.I actually like having Driver and Jennings, if I had a true #2 WR... gives a bit of consistency and still a lot of upside.

I am starting Jennings at third receiver since Matt Jones is injured. Jennings seems like he could be a nice sleeper. Brett Farve still likes to throw the long ball aznd Jennings is a burner. Don't be surprised if his stats after one quarter 1 catch 75 yards and a touchdown.
 $$$

Absolutely surreal. THEE greatest prediction EVER made on this board. Phenomenal.
Gotta give credit where its due, one helluva prediction right there

Jennings is a solid prospect, but lets face it he should have been knocked out of bounds after 10 yards on his 75 yard TD catch. Shoddy defense by the Lions.

Shoddy tackling perhaps, but it showed the type of balance and strength Jennings has as well. Very similar to Driver in that respect.

I'm actually starting Jennings OVER Driver this week. I expect Sheldon Brown to shadow Driver. But the 2nd CB, be it a gimpy Rod Hood or a not very good Joselio Hanson, will attempt to cover Jennings. I see Jennings having a better game...

Now that takes balls. I hope you're right, but I'd go with Driver.

Just dealt away T Glenn (for JLewis/EWilford) and moved GJennings into WR3 for the rest of the year :crossesfingers:

Favre looks decent enough and managing the ints, and their D will force GB into pass happy games most of the season. Jennings looks like RoY material @ this point.

I would like to see the targets & catches/game go up a little more (5-6ish), but that will come as GJ gets used to the NFL game.

Watch the reply on that, and I think you'd be surprised just how great a play that was by Jennings. I got to see the coaches view on that on Monday and his spin move took out 3 defenders and he was ready to stiff arm Dre Bly the second he ran around Driver, which is exactly what he did. His instincts were impressive. Remember a few years ago during Javon Walkers break out year? He had 89 catches and I think Driver had 85. I would expect to be 85 for Driver and 75 for Jennings, but equal Drivers yards and touchdowns if not be a little better. When Brett's had two great WR's, he uses them. Barring injuries, Jennings will get 1000 yards. He might have too, based on the GB DE.

He is now a must start, IMO. Even in Favres bad games he puts up numbers.
 He's a big play guy, plain and simple. He showed it in the preseason and he's showing it now. Some players just have "it", and it looks like Jennings is one of those players. I'm not going to bench him from here on out.

I definitely wish that I would have started him. Looks like I'll be starting him from here on out. Who would have thought that he'd beat out both Steve Smith and Terry Glenn this week?
