which parks would be considered which

i.e. Coors Field for the Rockies is considered a Hitters Park

Qualcomm Park in San Diego is considered a pitchers park

Rangers ballpark is a hitters park, but they supposedly made some changes to lessen the "jetstream" this year so watch out for that.

On the nights when the wind is not out of the south you see some real low scores which can make you some money if you are so inclined.

A lot of ball parks are now only marginally 'hitters' or 'pitchers' parks.

For hitters parks:

Coors

Fenway

Rangers - especially hot summer nights

Wrigley - when the wind is blowing out

Pitchers:

San Diego

Detroit

Seattle

Hmm, Dodgers' stadium is considered a pitcher's park, is it not? Also, I always thought Houston was a pretty good hitter's park, but their hitters right now are so awful they can't even take advantage of it.

A lot of those numbers also have to do with the teams pitching. For instance, Kaufman stadium isn't necessarily a hitters park, but when opposing teams get to face the gas cans KC runs out there, well, it's bombs away. Conversely the Metrodome isn't really a pitchers park, but the Twins pitching and great defense cut down significantly on runs per game.

Minute Maid park for what it's worth, I consider neutral. Short left field porch, but expansive centerfield and pretty decent size power alleys take away from the Crawford box effect.

KC is not a great hitters park but their pitching staff is so bad it makes it look that way. Metrodome is another example of talent and team make-up vs notions. Most of the others are pretty dead on except for Arizona which I'm not all that certain about.

These numbers are too heavily influenced by offensive caliber. They shine a LITTLE light on the tendencies but a potent offense in a pitchers park or a inept offense in a hitters park would skew the numbers a good bit.

Last 3 years of Park Factors for minor league parks. Helps when you're looking at prospects coming up and need to see if their sudden stat surge was park assisted. Case in point - Ryan Sweeney of the White Sox. Everyone was on him calling him the "next Sean Burroughs" so he goes out and hits 13 homers last year in AAA. That AAA park is at Charlotte which is an extremely friendly home ballpark for HR hitters so take that sudden power surge with a grain of salt.
