Let's talk Chad Henne, why no love? (1 Viewer)

Don't mess with Texas
Chad Henne reminds me of Troy Aikman but there's no buzz about him at all. He looked good (for the short time I've seen him play) during the preseason. I liked what I saw in him while he was at Michigan.

What does the pool think about him?

Same with Clowney the WR for the Jets.

What going on here?

I like Henne long-term. He can make all the throws. He isn''t especially mobile, but he seems to move just enough to avoid the pass rush. And he is the toughest of all the rookie QBs.

Was thinking the same thing. The "mobile" issue is not a concern. Brady, Manning, or Palmer to name a few aren't considered "mobile." Henne seems to fit the mode of an NFL QB yet not much is said about him. I thought I was missing something here. He's climbed up on some of the rankings I've seen lately, so maybe he'll pick up some steam. Plus the Miami QB job is still up for grabs.

Pennington will start. As a Dolphin fan I hope Henne sits all of 2008 and starts in 2009. Everything out of Dolphin camp has been positive about Henne. He will be their QB of the future and I think he starts in 2009.

So is Pennington the long term answer? Plus, last I read the QB position hadn't been decided, when did that change?

Clowney broke his collarbone. Or 'injured his shoulder' and will be 'out for a little while' according to Mangini.
I saw the "inj" by his name but no explanation, even before the injury there were no talks about him. Deep dynasty team would probably benifit from such a player.
