LHUCKS' top 5 Overvalued in ADP top 30 (1 Viewer)

Note: ADPs obtained from the leading fantasy league website.

1. Tom Brady - ADP #5 - His three year average is significantly lower than last year's numbers and there are several addittional reasons why the golden boy may be a bit overrated this year. a) Improved Defense b) Better running game (IMHO) c) BB wants to be more balanced (IMHO). 5 is way too high IMHO for a position that is relatively deep. Go QBBC instead or draft Brees or a runningback at #5.

2. Larry Fitzgerald - #15 - Skelton is better for Fitz then Kolb, but there are warning signs all over AZ. Not only are the QBs unproven, the OL is in shambles and the RBs can't stay on the field. Too many risk factors for an early 2nd round pick IMHO...and I love Fitz as a player.

3. Trent Richardson - ADP #24 - Rookie RB on a terrible offense. Further, he has already ran into some injury trouble. I'll pass on Richardson at this ADP with other value plays at RB a full round later or even more.

4. Cam Newton - ADP #12 - Just way too high with a deep QB class. His Rushing TDs have nowhere to go but down and his second half dropoff is of serious concern. No Thanks. Exciting player, but don't want him on my fantasy squad at this price.

5. Greg Jennings - ADP #29 - Less than 75 yards in 5 of last 6 games played last year. Has always been an overrated talent and IMHO is the fourth most talented target at Rodgers' disposal behind Finley, Cobb and Nelson. Add in Benson who will improve the running game. No thanks. Don't draft this guy on numbers from two years ago.

I will give you more, but you'll have to beg.
I think saying Richardson playing on a bad offense isn't a good reason to not like Richardson, look at MJD last year. Agree on the Qbs, slightly agree on Fitz but I'm seeing him drafted late 2nd and not early 2nd and I don't think a late 2nd is a horrible play on Fitz as he'll still get his. I think Jennings is close to about right too, I wouldn't reach any higher for him put I wouldn't pass on him mid 3rd round in a 12 teamer. Appreciate you posting.

The real reason Brady's stats are suffering is because McDaniels stinks and so does the oline, they are beggin Waters to come play trent Rich looks fine to me.

Pretty decent list. But where is Chris Johnson.

2 weeks in and he pats himself on the back. And he and others wonder why people bash him?
Two weeks is all the data we have so far, at this point it is a pretty good list. I am sure multiple people will bump this thread whenever some of the slow starters turn it around, but at this point you have to give LHucks a win.

Umm...the point is...its 2 freaking weeks.Anyone have playoffs starting in week 3?Its a "look at me move"...pretty much par for the course with him.

If we finish the season right now Palmer, Cassel and Fitz are all top 10 QBs, nudging out Rodgers, Brady and Stafford. Give me a break, none of this matters until at least week 8 but more so week 17.

If all five of those guys got off to good starts do you think people would not be bumping the thread? It would be a circus of people declaring a a fail for LHuck after two weeks. It should work both ways.LHucks annoys the begeesus out of me sometimes, but he posted his list and so far it was a good list. If he wants to pat himself on the back a little that's fine.

Based on his history...people may have...because the guy does this.He brings it on himself...What do you think the purpose of bumping this was?And sorry, I don't find patting yourself on the back after 2 weeks of season to be fine...its more of his annoying schtick.

Replace Trent Richardson with Chris Johnson and it would be 5 for 5. LHUCKS hit a home run here. For those who find him annoying, go search and bump his strike outs after two weeks.

This.LHucks is one of countless bigmouths on the internet who has legit knowledge/insight/experience that is massively eclipsed by attitude/schtick/arrogance.He's got ideas that would otherwise be worth paying attention to, but the form of the message makes it completely unlistenable.Have a great year LHucks, you self absorbed doofus. Meanwhile please don't crap in the pool anymore.

Everyone pretty much had the same top 5 quarterbacks (Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Stafford, Newton) and you could put them all on this list right now. That is why putting any quarterbacks on this list was dumb. Did people really think quarterbacks would be throwing for 5000 yards all the time. Anyone who didn't think the defenses wouldn't catch up with a whole off season to work with and around the new rules had their head in the sand. I will admit the refs do have a little to do the defenses catching up, but the defenses have pride and get paid too, they weren't going to just sit around and get picked on every Sunday. The real list after 2 weeks should look like this 1st - Chris Johnson2nd - Larry Fitzgerald3rd - Jamal Charles4th - Dez Bryant5th - DMC, that one was a toss up between Jennings and DMC, but I am picking DMC because of how bad he has looked rushing the ball.

How is the most obvious one not A. Rodgers? He is not performing to his #1 overall pick by any means.

Good picks with Fitz and Brady. Jennings is only due to injury, pretty bad choices with Cam and Richardson. Not a complete miss with Cam as QBs could be had elsewhere (so decent logic), but this is supposed to be a top 5 overvalued list and didn't include Chris Johnson, Jamal Charles, Beanie Wells, Welker, or Finley. Overall, C+

OP was ahead of his time.
Which means he was wrong. Just having Brady, alone, last year, was enough to get a lot of teams playing for money in their leagues.

If I pull a list from 4 years ago where I say Mendy, JSTEW, Dallas Clark, etc are overrated, it does look good...four years later. But in the present, it was silly.

With that being said, he absolutely nailed Fitz's situation and while most of us talk about NBYS and talent rises to the top, etc, Fitz is a good case for illustrating that everything has its breaking point.
