I don't know why he fell out of favor with the coaches so quick. It seems like he's a better fit for their offense than what they currently have.

I can't remember if Detroit changed offensive coordinators or not this offseason, but their O lacks an identity. If they played Smith and used him like the Bears use Forte I would think it would benefit Stafford (who is clearly struggling this season). They could also use Leshoure (or Bell) in the Bush role.

I gotta say, Kevin Smith fits the Lions offense much better than Leshoure. The Lions offense have always been an up tempo attack. Leschoure slows it down.

I get throwing a quick slant to Marshall (though a fade makes more sense), but didn't they sign Bush to be a goal line back? Could have potentially put the nail in the coffin there. Philly let the Lions hang around and it came back to bite them.
