I agree..I was expecting Mickey to move the pile like he has been doing all day. Shaun Hill is a great backup QB..but he is not a gifted runner or athlete.

I hope Schwartz enjoyed his time as a head coach because I think it might be coming to an end. 1-2 and losing against a team as bad as the Titans with a chance to tie and let your defense get you the ball back? I understand that thought process, but ownership will only remember the outcome.

I'm confused how TEN kicks a FG in OT, but DET gets another shot? What happened to sudden death? Guess I'm behind on a rule change?

Why did the Lions go for it??
I liked the call..not the execution I hated the second down play when Hill threw to Bell.As usual the Lions made Jake Locker look like Aaron Rodgers. Matt Millen clone Martin Mayhew should draft some more RBs and injured WRS.

First team with the ball can't win the game on the first FG anymore. TD wins it still. After the first drive, it is sudden death.

Why did the Lions go for it??
It was the right move. The Lions have a better than 50 percent chance of picking that up. If they get the almost certain FG, then theTitans will get the ball only needing a FG to win. In that situation, theTitans would then have a slight advantage.

They used this rule in the playoffs last year, and now they're using it in the regular season. It's still "Sudden Death" if you score a TD or a safety, but if you kick a field goal on your first possession, then the other team gets a chance to score.

Coach just said they werent intending on going for. They were going to try and draw the offisides and then kick it.

Schwartz just said in the presser the intent was to rush up and never snap the ball...to try and draw the Titans offsides. If it did not work kick the FG. For some odd reason Riola snapped the ball and it was fumbled. Schwartz also said he knew it was chaos and should have called a TO so it was on him and I agree.

News on Britt:

Jim Wyatt ‏@jwyattsports

Kenny Britt tweaked his ankle at the end but should be Ok, Munchak said

On Stafford:

Jason La Canfora ‏@JasonLaCanfora

Jim Schwartz said it was a "a leg pull, a hamstring pull" that took Stafford out of the game. Was limiting his mobility through the game

Seems like it has actually been bothering him all week. They likely pulled him when they assumed the game was out of reach, then kept him out when Hill lit it up. Sounds like it's something he'll be able to continue to play through if it persists.

Thank you! Also might explain why he has seemed a little off to start the year...

I agree that Leshoure hasn't looked like anything special. I think you could find guys off of practice squads who would have done as much with what Leshoure had to work with today. And probably some who would have picked up more.He hasn't looked bad. Just hasn't looked like a guy I want as my team's starter.
As a Lions fan that watches every game, LeShoure ran well ans he did more with his touches than Smith would have. He is an every week fantasy starter.

Coach is giving his 12 year veteran a pass there. The whole point of rushing up to the line line you're going to quick snap might draw an offsides, but if call a TO the Titans coaches are telling all their guys to make sure you don't jump because they may not run a play.Twelve years in the league, Dom has never been to a Pro Bowl, never won anything, calls out teammates and talks more #### than anyone in the locker room. #### you, Raiola - can't wait until he and Backus retire.

Come on.
