All that pregame #### was overdone but I agree with Tony that losing Vick hurt the Falcons more than many thought it would. I remember conversations on this board where people were waving the "Vick is overrate" flags. With Vick the Falcons were always a dangerous team, without him they are 3-9 with an anemic offense.

Your logic is flawed by your Vick-colored glasses. Perhaps you should allow them to sign a decent QB in order to compare apples to apples. Obviously, with the clowns they were able to scrape together in a couple of weeks the deck was stacked against them. They would have been a 'dangerous' team with Schaub at QB, but let him go b/c they had Vick. They were not planning on having to fill the QB position with a starter-quality NFL pro during training camp. That is why "they are 3-9 with an anemic offense."

I am getting more and more tired of ESPN's atrocious coverage of MNF. The Vick thing has been done to death, and it seems the game is an afterthought.
