We're doing a live auction for the first time. We have found someone to be the auctioneer, who won't be a part of the league.

My question is what software or website is best to keep track of players picked and dollars remaining for each team? Does CBS, MFL, ESPN or any other site have this capability to run a live auction?

Last year I used FanDraft. I wasn't sure about it going into the draft, but the guys in my league loved it. It's got a pretty good menu of customizable options and lets you export directly into mfl. The best part for our league was the music you can play when each team makes a pick. I choose all the tunes for the teams loosely based off their team names. Some we're better than others, but overall it was a hit. I cut all the songs down to about 25-30 secs so it wouldn't drag down the draft.
