No Prince Fielder did after he lost the bet that I made with him saying he wouldn't hit .200 in this series.Did Pete Rose favorite this tweet too?ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo 6s6 seconds ago

haha yep. Was really talking about his time since he's been in kc and then he gave up 2 quick runs. I guess nothing to see hereHe's rollingWhat the hell happened to johnny cueto?
They do this for other plays.I still hate Dale Scott's explanation. Any time an umpire calls the ball dead it stops play. You can't say that a guy would have theoretically scored and therefore will now score. That's not how this game works.
Texans? Not very omniscient of you...Find it hilarious that people are ripping Bautista for the bat flip. The guy was once considered a career minor league vet and now made the playoffs for the first time as a 34 year old and hit the biggest homer of his life in one of the most emotional games in recent history. It's hard not to let your emotions take over.
He's a dbag sometimes but I have no issues with that specific act. The Texans should be looking at themselves for choking away that 7th inning lead.
Yep. Could be scary if they start spending dough.Fun season for the Astros, we haven't heard the last of these fellas.
You excited about the chance to watch David Price and Cespedes in the World Series? No Prince Fielder did after he lost the bet that I made with him saying he wouldn't hit .200 in this series.Did Pete Rose favorite this tweet too?ESPN Stats & Info @ESPNStatsInfo 6s6 seconds ago

Also I wasn't rubbing it in. Just relaying a factoid, like I do quite often.

Sure, although I doubt either gets there in 2015. Maybe Cespedes will go to Atlanta so he can be in the series next year.

Rightfully named player of the game.AnonymousBob said:This Murphy fella isn't awful.
Kendrick had a great year, the rest of them are pretty bad though.Did the Dodgers make a bunch of trades where they had to take on bad contracts or old guys or something?
Rolling out Crawford, Rollins, Utley and Kendrick is good shtick.
The Dodgers have the finances and prospects to compete year in and year out but this squad was pretty flawed for $260M. A lot of the price/performance problems date back to Colletti but Friedman's deals didn't work out as planned either. Kendrick was a productive rental but I'd rather have five years of Andrew Heaney. Matt Kemp would have been helpful to have in this series. The trades for Rollins, Utley, Wood and Latos all look like losers right now. They managed one healthy year out of Brett Anderson and Brandon McCarthy. Unfortunately, it was the guy who'll be a free agent and not the one on the books for the next three years. I don't think their bullpen is that bad. I think Friedman is smart enough not to overpay for guys like Brandon League and Brian Wilson.Kendrick had a great year, the rest of them are pretty bad though. They probably have the best farm system in the league so they'll be fine. Pederson and Seager are going to be good for a long time, and they have some top shelf arms coming soon. Still, their bullpen was pretty bad all year and they had stretches where their bats were just completely dead. Guys like Grandal faded badly, Agone and the other Methuselahs looked their age late in the season.Did the Dodgers make a bunch of trades where they had to take on bad contracts or old guys or something?

So they are probably gonna buy anything and everything in the offseason. If David Price doesn't end up there, I'll eat my hat.
They really had a lot of deals that were not good. I hate that they moved Dee Gordon then didn't have anyone to fill that role. They relied on the HR too much and didn't manufacture a lot of runs. Then they tried to get a bunch of questionable starters to fill the back of the rotation and just about all of them were worthless. Anderson was okay but McCarthy, Latos, and wood were all failures. Aside from Jansen and howell their bullpen was horrible. Bunch of guys with 4+ ERA include the deadline deal Jim Johnson with a 10.13 ERA in 23 games. Dan Haren (who was in the Dee Gordon deal too and the Dodgers paid his full $10 Mil) would have been a nice pitcher to have. The Dodgers have the finances and prospects to compete year in and year out but this squad was pretty flawed for $260M. Still, they had Kershaw and Greinke starting 4 games out of 5. You can't expect more favorable matchups than that in a playoff series. The patchwork lineup of old guys past their prime and young guys not there yet wasn't enough to get out of the first round.
Good. #### 'em.
