I have an auction in 3 days. I feel pretty good about how I've got my players ranked and the $ value for each guy, except for LJ.

In the mocks I've done with a $250 cap he has been going in the $80-90 range. LT has been $100+ every time and SJax has been $90-95. Behind LJ there is a group of 5-6 others that have been going for $60-70 (Addai, Gore, etc.)

Is this guy worth $80+? Or should he be bumped down to the $60-70 range? I know he will probably outscore most or all of the tier 2 guys if he plays 16 games. But that is a big if, and I can't waste 30-35% of my cap on a guy that may miss the start of the season.

I wish my draft was closer to the start of the season, but it's not so I need to figure it out soon.

What do you other auction drafters say?

I'll bet you won't see him go that high. Everyone else will be gun shy too. Keep him around $65-70 with the Addai tier.

Agreed. I have him in the same tier as Addai, Gore, and Westbrook (my auction league is PPR.)

I kept him at $47 in a $150 cap league (31.3% of cap). I am a bit worried about the potential holdout but in this league RB can be kept so nobody better was available and I did not want to drophim and try to reacquire him. I think his current value is probably pretty close to that 30% of cap space.

lol @ those prices. I wouldn't touch LJ for anything more than oh 20% - and probably not even that - till I hear the words "contract resolution."

In a $400 cap I just snagged him saturday for $101. I think it was a good buy, Roughly 25%.
