Lloyd proving to be a must start (1 Viewer)

16 targets this week, 9 week before.

Lineup isn't changing, other then maybe belicheck getting pissed off this week with fumbles and passing 50+ times trying to smash jags.

Curious to see where the "experts" rank him....I feel a trap coming a bit, but he sure looks like a must start (especially in ppr).

What's your take?

Simply put, he's been getting the targets since both Edelman/Gronk have been out. If Gronk plays next week I wouldn't play Lloyd, but with him out, he's a decent start imo... they got to pass to someone, right? The only concern for me is that he only seems to run one route. Could be wrong on that but it's what I've noticed watching the games.

I think he has earned a certain level of trust now with Brady. At times this season he was the 4th option in the passing game behind the likes of Gronk,Welker,Hernandez and briefly Edelman. Now he is the 2nd or 3rd option. If Gronk comes back his value will likely go down.

The bigger threat to his production next week might be a lobsided score and the Jags inability to slow down Welker however. I certainly wouldn't expect a huge game from him next week but hopefully the duds are behind him too.

On the plus side, the Patriots aren't a "pump the brakes" kind of team when they get a big lead.
