It appears that way, the audio on the video is poor, but some viewers claim they can hear an audible "snap" sound as if the ankle is broken during the takedown of the homophobe (and then afterwards the guy is in a wheelchair).

Yea...at about 1:24...you can see pink shirt's left foot turn awkward as group cane down on him...definitely broken.

Doesn't it seem like one of the several security people walking around at the beginning of the video could have diffused the situation??? They ignored it and cowboy hat guy had to step in...

Very weird. Loved how they all showed up 3 seconds after the first punch was thrown. Is it ok to scream homophobic slurs there? Gotta wait for a punch before shutting it down?

 
A bunch of Texans protect a gay guy from a beating and a nice Christian family was there to capture it all on film and offer some life advice. Texas keeps sounding better and better.

Reminds me of the NYC cops who just let the lunatic stab the guy in the face and hid in the conductor's booth on the subway. Guy who got stabbed had to subdue his attacker.

I only see one at the beginning and she's TSA. They don't really do security, that's the police who are there later. There's another guy with a vest and blue shirt similar to the TSA woman but I didn't see the patch on the upper arm. Could have been a passenger.

And it looks like from the beginning of the video the pink shirt guy was using his phone to either take a picture or a video. Guess would be the fat guy was really drunk and it amused him. Fat guy didn't like it, flipped off everybody (looks like) and went down the homophobic path, followed by the racist BS.

It's weird how they were just standing there listening to this idiot verbally abuse the gay man. When the guy took his coat off and started saying more junk, it was obvious that it was escalating, and they just watched until it turned physical and bystanders were intervening.

Who are these security people? The suitcase checker at the beginning? That's about all they're good for. And good chance they've even been told not to intervene in situations like that. The first police officer was there pretty quickly so either he was already there and did nothing (doubt it) or was on the way after being called.

 
If I was security I would have given the pink shirt guy one free kick to the face while captain inbred was on the ground. Speaking of which, that guy thinks being gay is worse than his family in breeding, hmmm.

Gay guy (not sure whether or not he's gay, but will call him that to distinguish from other pink shirt guy) probably shouldn't have persisted in videoing or photographing the guy when it was clear that it pissed him off. And he probably should have walked away when drunk guy started engaging with cowboy hat guy. Instead, he walks right up to him to continue the interaction. Not saying gay guy did anything wrong or was to blame, but he didn't do anything to deescalate the situation, IMO.

I agree 100%. It takes the bigger man to walk away and yet instead of taking the high road pink shirt kept the situation going trying to get more youtube material.

By brining this up as an option is to imply he should have done something different to defuse a situation that should have never been, except for the moron...Pink shirt gay guy did the right thing by standing up to a bully..whatever the consequences.
