Looking ahead - Defense for the Playoffs (1 Viewer)

If you have a chance to make the fantasy playoffs, now is the time to start looking for good match-ups.

Buffalo plays Miami in week 15 & Denver in week 16.

My league requires owners to keep 2 DSTs all season.

I drafted 49ers & Seahawks, in order to take advantage of the NFC opponents.

I've swapped Seahawks out with cardinals a couple times. I'll likely keep the Cardinals into the playoffs (should I make the playoffs).

The 49ers have been solid, and are likely not available in many leagues.

Seahawks had a terrible fantasy defense to start the season. Cardinals, not so good, either. But each still has decent playoff matchups, IMO.

I picked up Buff & Cinn for playoffs....

Don't have to worry abut Week 14 if I win divion (1st round bye).

Currently have a 2 game lead...

The way my season is going I feel like Jim Mora.

Playoffs? Are you kidding me? PLAYOFFS?

I just hope I can win a game.

I have the Bengals as my main defense. Does anyone know of a good second defense for a DEFBC?

Buffalo does have great matchups going into the playoffs. Would you start them over proven starter D's?

For example, I think both NY teams are, for the most part, starters even with bad matchups

NYJ (week 15 @ Philly, week 16 vs NYG)

NYG (week 15 vs Wash, week 16 @ NYJ -- which isn't really a road game)

With the exception of week 2 (Oakland) and week 6 (NYG), Buffalo has put up great points. With these two matchups, I think they are the #1 choice for weeks 15 and 16. Luckily someone just dropped them in my league. Going to pick them up off waivers on Saturday and stash them.

week 15 & 16 TEN plays IND then JAX
They just put up a good performance against Indy (10 PA, 2 Sacks, 2 Int, 1 TD, 1 Blocked Kick).Week 1, they weren't too great against Jax (16 PA, 2 Sacks, 1 Fum Rec).I think they're a strong option, but there might be better depending on the league.

What are.... plays that look good on paper but I'd probably regret, Alex?
Doesn't the Patriots D always start off slow and then fix their problems as the season progresses? Last year they were on a tear during the end of the year. Perhaps the weather at Gilette Stadium is a part of that?

Detroit could have a decent one as things look to be shaking out (even though at the beginning of the season it might not have seemed so), It could also be tough depending on how these injuries, new Qb's shake out.
